According to the factory service manual, there just one EVAP Canister Purge Valve, the blue part on the image below. It comes as an assembly with the hose.

I changed this part but the CEL remains. Will the code need to be cleared manually or will the CEL turn off after driving for some time. I have read that this is a permanent code meaning it will need to be cleared? I realize that there could potentially be another issue causing the P144C code but decided to try the easiest potential fix first. Also, I did try to blow/suck through the old valve to see if it was stuck open. I was unable to pass any air through it so does this potentially point to another issue?
