Code P1361 Honda Description

The Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor determines the timing for fuel injection and ignition of each cylinder and also detects engine speed. The Top Dead Center (TDC) Sensor determines ignition timing at start-up (cranking) and when the crank angle is abnormal. The Cylinder Position (CYP) Sensor detects the position of the No. 1 cylinder for the sequential fuel injection to each cylinder. The CKP/TDC/CYP sensors are built into the distributor. If intermittent interruption Top Dead Center (TDC) sensor pulsing signals are detected, a malfunction is detected, and the P1382 Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is stored.

I had my engine cleaned also and got this error and replace the TDC sensor crank sensor timing belt and water pump and still isn't fixed. Is there another TDC located on a 99 accord ?

Do you happen to have the part # for the TDC sensor? I called Honda and the part # they gave me is the same as the sensor I replaced but from what I was told it's also called the cam sensor. Almost wish bone shaped with two split ends going back into one connector

The TDC sensor is the same as the Camshaft Position Sensor, but its not the same as the Crankshaft Position Sensor

Yes the sensor on the image is correct. For your Honda with 6 cylinder engine, the sensor is located behind the front camshaft gear and requires removing the timing belt to replace.
