If the Glow Plug Control Module temperature sensor 2 is not within 12°C (54°F) of Glow Plug Control Module temperature sensor 1 and Glow Plug Control Module Temperature Sensor 3; and the difference between Glow Plug Control Module Temperature Sensor 1 and Glow plug control module Temperature Sensor 3 is less than 12°C (54°F) for greater than 2 s, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be set. The Glow Plug Control Module will send a message to the Engine Control Module (ECM) to set this DTC.
