Very unlikely, the P0758 is a transmission related code and should have nothing to do with the charge system.

1999 Honda Civic 4 cyl. P0758 only code D4 light flashing trans. works perfect in reverse when put in drive will move forward a few feet before stopping. Once this happens if you try to accelerate the engine stalls very hard. After the first stall if put in park and engine restarted instantly stalls when put into any forward gear. Disconnected linear solenoid connector and reconnected, D4 light stopped flashing. Started car and shifted to drive, same scenario as mentioned above.

I have a 2002 crv I just swapped motors in and after I was done the trans is giving me p0753,p0758,p0763,p0773,p0710,p1298 I did not remove trans just harness it worked fine before anyone know why this is happening it won't shift and D light flashing tried to clear code and heard a click and code came back right away.
