Code P0756 Chevrolet Description

The transmission fluid pressure switch, also known as the pressure switch manifold, is a multiple switch assembly made up of 3 normally open pressure switches and 1 normally closed pressure switch. Pressure switch 1 monitor shift valve 1 positioning, pressure switch 2 monitors shift valve 2 positioning and pressure switch 3 monitors shift valve 3 positionings. The normally open pressure switches 1–3 communicate the positioning to the Transmission Control Module (TCM). The position of shift valves 1–3 is controlled by 3 normally closed shift solenoid valves 1–3. When energized, the shift solenoid valves directly control the main pressure to shift valve 1, 2, or 3, which strokes the shift valve. When the shift valve is stroked, an exhaust passage is blocked and fluid pressure to the pressure switch increases. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be set if the shift solenoid valve 2 is commanded on and pressure switch 2 remains off for 5–12 s, depending on the transmission fluid temperature.

2003 Chevy Astro van the cold p 0756 appears can you please let me know what I have to do. transmission is not shifting

The P0756 means that the shifting solenoids inside the transmission are not working properly. Sometimes the solenoid failed to work due to dirty or low transmission fluid. You could start by inspecting the transmission fluid level and condition. If the transmission smells burnt, then you may have a transmission problem and you may have to have a transmission specialist inspected for you.

2003 Chevy Trailblazer, intermittent P0756 code, replaced shift solenoids A & B, new filter and fluid. After 2 weeks, shift malfunction, feels like starting out in 3rd gear, service engine soon light came on and P0756 code on scanner again.

Well no i have not replced p@rts yet...im trying to dignose first to see ho much more this vehicle will nickel n dime me.
Though, i did just under one year ago drop newer motor in and when this hppened recent it clunckd into gear and i immediately parked it.
Though a few days later i drove it slowly....then 'check engine soon' light turned off and im still not driving it much mostly riding my bike because IM A CHICK THATS AFRAID OF BEING SCREWED OVER BY A TRANSMISSION OR ANY MECHANIC AGAIN!
