Code P0753 Chevrolet Description

The 1-2 Shift Solenoid (SS) valve controls the fluid flow acting on the 1-2 and 3-4 shift valves. The 1-2 SS valve is a normally-open exhaust valve that is used with the 2-3 SS valve in order to allow four different shifting combinations. The solenoid attaches to the control valve body within the transmission. When the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects a continuous open, short to ground or short to power in the 1-2 SS valve circuit, then the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0753 is set.

ok i have a 2000 chevy blazer ls i am geting a code of po753 . I have replaced both shift solenoids. I have 21 oms at the solenoids and 11.5 volts at the solenoids all 4. what eles can i check

The next step is to check the wire continuity from the solenoid to the Vehicle Control Module (VCM). If the wire is OK, then the factory service manual recommend replacing the VCM.
