I drive an '03 Lancer. Symptoms include spontaneous, hard shifting while driving, or reversing the car (Both ways). I also have the code, obviously.

The most common problem that will set the P0715 code is the Input Shaft Speed Sensor, the sensor is on top of the transmission. Unfortunately, I don't have and image and I couldn't find one in the factory service manual either.
