i continue to have this code periodically and have found that the issue for me has been a buildup of corrosion on the negative terminal that attaches to the battery side-post and the grounds at the radiator support. Cleaning the flat lug on the cable end, and cleaning up the connections especially at the battery always seems to work for me. It starts manifesting itself as a traction control light, and spreads to multiple dash warnings for abs/esc/and even security and gauge variations along with limp mode and even no-crank issues. These cars are pretty well known for this in various forums.
