Code P060C Chrysler Description

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) receives a constant voltage from the Batteries through the Battery wires that are connected directly to the positive (+) Battery post. The PCM receives Ignition Switch input when the vehicle is turned on. During this time the customer may experience some performance effects such as engine dying or hard starting. Fault Information and Trip Information may be inaccurate. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be set when the PCM detects Battery voltage lower than a calibrated threshold for a pre-determined amount of time. Battery voltage was removed from the PCM while it was powered on. This could be during engine operation, or after the key off while the PCM was powering down. The power down phase can last up to 10 minutes.
