  • Well I have not changed any parts yet , but sure the engine shut of on the road. batery is ok, charging system  ok, fuel pressure ok, seems comunication is off at the moment the engine kills. I turn the ignition switch and the engine will not start even turn , it looses the ignition ligths on the dashboard when I try to restart. Is there any one have this problem or advice

  • Engine light came on. Also the following indicators:
    stabilitrac=off
    traction=off
    Engine cut off on the road. Would not restart. Waited about 5 min and it started ok. Engine light stayed on but the truck ran fine. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the ecm under warranty.
    Only had 22K miles on it.

  • I have the same situation , did they cover it under the power train warranty ??? That's what I still have on mine and they say that warranty won't cover the ecm repair ??
