I have P0597, Pressure test the system no leaks so I replace Thermostat unit assambly to my surprise the car still overheats no input or test found on Alldata. Any info will be greatly appreciate

If the engine still is still overheating, then you may have a problem with the electric water pump or a radiator fan. Have you notice if the fan work when the engine is overheating?

this code is very misleading ,i will think they are talking about the heater water valve going to the heater core in the car .i have tested the solenoid heater water valve ,found 17.8 ohms on both. ok and i have tested the engine coolant thermostat found 8.7 ohms .not sure if this ohms is correct when engine is cold. if the thermostat was open it should read OPEN LOOP. however i did found bad coolant temp sensor,reading 4.99 ohms .the new sensor should read about 2600 ohms.replace and clear all codes.the po597 code still pop right back up.hope this can help someone and if find a solution for the po597 heater control circuit open please post here thanks.

I recommend starting by inspecting/replacing the Coolant Temperature Sensor. If possible change the thermostat as well

i replaced everything suggested. tHE COOLANT TEMP. SENSOR AND THERMOSTAT AS WELL ALSO WENT TO DEALER BEFORE WE DID THE REPLACEMENTS THE AC DID NOT WORK EITHER DEALER DID DIAG. THEY SAID TO REPLACE AC PRESSURE SENSOR I REPLACE THAT AND FILLED FREON STILL SAME PROBLEM FAN AT HIGH SPEED YET AC NOT WORKING.TOOK BACK TO DEALER THEY CLAIM BAD COMPRESSOR DOES THE COMPRESSOR HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE FAN RUNNING ON SUCH A HIGH SPEED ALL THE TIME AC AND HEAT ARE SHUT OFF FAN STILL RUNNING.DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS ..
