Code P0460 Mercedes-Benz Description

The fuel level sensor output voltage changes depending on the movement of the fuel mechanical float. The fuel level is monitored during vehicle operation to ensure conditions are meet for the misfire detection monitors to run. The level sensor output can be tested with an oscilloscope when removed from the fuel tank.
