Code P0456 Nissan Description
The vacuum cut valve bypass valve is opened to clear the line between the fuel tank and the EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve. The EVAP canister vent control valve will then be closed to shut the EVAP purge line off. The EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve is opened to depressurize the EVAP purge line using intake manifold vacuum. After this depressurization is implemented, the EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve will be closed.

I had this code on my 2002 Nissan Altima, changed new OEM filler cap and didn't work so I bought the canister vent vlave and canister purge volumen control solenoid. I changed the easy one first purge volumen control solenoid that is located on the manifold behind the throttle body, drive the car 34 miles and shut it off and after half hour start it again and my check engine light was off itself so the good luck was I didn't need go under the car and my other part will be save for future problem with this part of the emission.
