Discuss the causes and fixes for P0451 Chrysler OBDII Code

  • P0451 on Chrysler Crossfire - During driving on Highway with opened Spoiler the Reserve-Light of the Fuel turned on. A few minutes later i reduced the Speed under 60 km/h, but the Spoiler showed no reaction. At home i tried to close the Spoiler manual - but no reaction. I filled up the fueltank and checked the system with an OBD II scanner. I found P0451 and cleared the code - but no reaction by the spoiler. It is not possible to close the spoiler, the fuse ist ok. My car: 2005er Crossfire Coupe alabaster-white, US-Model, reimportet to Germany.

  • The P0451 code was definitely set because the fuel level got too low, but it should have nothing to do with the spoiler. I honestly never had that problem with the spolier before and there is no information in the manuals either. My only suggestion is to disconnect the car battery for a few minutes to try reset all the systems.
