Hi, I recently bought a 2007 Santa fe. After 1 week the engine light came up and it was easy for me to fill one of the spark plugs doesn't work. I changed all the spark plugs and found one of the coeils is not working and there is a big crack in the air hose top of engine. I changed them. At the same time I changed the timing belt. After 2 days code p0430 came up. Can it be related to the work has been done recently? Thanks

Hi, thanks for replying. I have booked in Hyundai for checking the car on this Tuesday. Do you think driving the car in this situation will not make any further problems? When I went there with the failure in spark plugs I booked for 5 days later and I asked them using the car in these days will make any further problems or no? They said no, you can drive the car. It just will burn more fuel and will work roughly. They didn't say it can cause the catalyst problem. I had driven the car with spark plug failure for totally about 2hrs and this new problem appeared.

If the engine is running fine now, after replacing the spark plugs, coil and the air hose, then it shouldn't cause any more problems.

I went to Hyundai today, they said there is an air leakage somewhere in the engine. No catalyst issue. Go back to anyone who repaired the car recently. He should check what he has done.
Car was running very fresh and powerful after the repair. It is not working roughly now but it is not fresh now and looks like an old and tiered engine. I will go back to the mechanic who had changed the timing belt and spark plugs. He had changed one air hose and I hope that is the problem.
