I have just purchased a 2005 Altima 3.5L SE-R with this code. The part store has either a front engine back or a rear engine bank but was unable to figure out which one was for this code. Could you tell me which is the correct part?

The P0340 code is the for the Bank 1, and the sensor for the bank 1 is the one by the throttle body. So is the rear of the engine, since the front of the engine is on the passenger side and the rear the driver side.

Unfortunately I can't remember exactly how it looks like. the difference between the Bank 1 and Bank 2 sensors is the angle of the connectors. My advice is to remove the old one and compare the the sensor. It only takes a few minutes to remove the sensor.
