im working on a mazada cx7 2007 and the check engine code is on and when i sxcan it it tells me that cylinder 4 is misfiring and telling me that i need to get it fix asap. so of course i went and started to fix the problem
first i took the spark plug apatrt to lok at it to see if there was oil in the spark plugs and of course there was so i replace the gaskets on it and put new spark pliugs
second i cleaned all the coil packs and moved them around before i bought a new one to make sure that it was the coil pack
aftrer i cleared all the codes it popped back up to the same thing again cylinder 4 misfire i havent checked to see if there was any leaks or anything yet but i wanna see if i should check the compression or what
i took the dipstick out and checked the oil and it seemed pretty watery but it dont look like anything was in it at all so now my last hope is to change the oil and filter then chekck on the compression tomm and go from there -
