  • hi my name is Daniel,am a mechatronics,i have an issue with a benz ml230,i have change all the plugs,coils,nozzles,ecm,still reporting cylinder1,2,3,random misfiring and this code is there before all this were change,in addition,i realize that if the engine is cold it will be okay after test drive and the vehicle get hot and it started jerking,now i don't know next to do.please help

  • Clean the o2 sensor had the same problem. Common. Some times you have to clean around in the upper intake manifold

  • but if there is only a cylinder misfire like #2 you want to switch the coils and see if the misfire goes to cylinder 1 ... then erase the codes and see if the random misfire goes away.... but if there no particular cylinder misfire and the CKP sensors PID controller in the ECM is still detecting a faulty delayed rotation then.... your timing chains and guide rails are probably worn out and need all new timing components including chain tensioner.... but atleast you won't need a balance shaft that goes in the 06-11 mercedes which is 170 alone... rediculous

  • hello every one i have mercedes W221 S500 model 2008 and there are misfiring in lift side in the four cylinders and i replaced all spark plugs and all ignition coils and disassembly the all engine to check the pistons and the valves ... etc and still there is misfire and i replaced air mass and the injectors and still there is misfire and replaced 3 engine control unit and still there is misfire in the same side and i replaced the o2 sensors and still there is miss fire in the same side
