I just encountered the P0085 & P00C6 error codes on my 2013 FLEX, it's at the dealer now, I'll again comment on their findings later to assist others.
Basic info, happened twice within 4 days, the first time I was able to get it started after maybe 15-20 minutes of cool down and tring to start it maybe 20 times. The second occurrence not so lucky, in 100 degree California desert heat, the vehicle started then stopped in about 10 seconds. Again trying to start it, it would not fire up, tried so many times I think it fried the starter's wiring, I could smell that electrical wire burning smell, not good. AAA was able to gey my car to my chosen dealership, let's see how long it takes then to figure it out and hopefully make a full and successful repair, should fall under my 100,000 mile Certified Vehicle warranty, fingers crossed.

Interesting problem. From what you described, sounds like you have a problem with the fuel pump.
-
Did you ever find out what it was?
I'm having the same issue with my 2013 Fusion. -
I have changed both fuel pumps and the injector pressure sensor and still have the same problems hard to start and then will not run. code POOC6. Any help would be appreciated.

Let me check if I can find more information or bulletin for your vehicle. What model, year and engine size is your Ford?
-
For your model and year, other than the fuel pump and filters, I have not seen any other components causing the symptoms you describe.
The system contains 3 to 5 filtering or screening devices.
1. The fuel intake filter or screen is a fine nylon mesh filter mounted on the intake side of the fuel pump. It is part of the assembly and cannot be repaired separately.
2. The filter/screen at the fuel rail port of the injectors is part of the fuel injector assembly and cannot be repaired separately.
3. The filter/screen at fuel inlet side of the fuel pressure regulator is part of the regulator assembly and cannot be repaired separately.
4. The fuel filter assembly is located between the fuel pump and the pressure test point (Schrader valve) or injectors. This filter may be a lifetime fuel filter located in the fuel pump assembly or an external 3-port inline filter that allows clean fuel to return to the fuel tank. A new filter may be installed for the external filter.
5. The fuel filter sock is located on the fuel pump assembly between the reservoir and the fuel tank.
