Check Battery and Alternator
Instruction
Inspect the battery terminals for corrosion and ensure they are tight. Use a multimeter to check the battery voltage and the alternator output.
Expected result
Battery voltage should be around 12.6 volts with the engine off and 13.7-14.7 volts with the engine running.
If Pass
If battery and alternator are functioning correctly, proceed to check the fuel delivery system.
If Fail
If the battery or alternator is faulty, repair or replace as necessary and retest the system.
