Code U1175 Description

The Electronic Pedestrian Protection Module (EPPM) receives the ignition status message over the CAN C bus from the Electronic Ignition System. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets when the EPPM doesn't receive a vehicle ignition switch status signal from the Electronic Ignition System (EIS) over the Controller Area Network (CAN) C bus for 25 seconds to set the active code. The EPPM receives a vehicle speed signal for over one second to recover and change to a stored code. The Airbag Warning Lamp (AWL) on while faulted condition is active.
