My service engine soon light is on. I have a code reader . says P1744- when I clear the code it eventually comes back on . I have a 1999 ford Taurus- can I still drive this with the light on - I haven't noticed any difference in the transmission changing gears. car still rides good. does make a noise in the morning when its cold when I accelerate but goes away after warmed up ?
