I programmed an extra remote key for my 2000 9-5 2.3t with Tech 2 clone. The programming of 3 keys went without a hitch. Some days later this "P1460 Immobilizer activated" appeared in the Tech 2. All remote keys and banana key work to lock/unlock and start the car except two times when one of the remotes would not unlock. Synchronization by pressing unlock 5x did not work. For some reason, I tried putting the key in the ignition and turning to "On". Then the remote worked. No check engine light. Still, I went into the Tech 2 and brought up "Immobilizer". Pressed "Enter" and next thing that came up was, "Please wait, Immobilzer being programmed" or similar. It did not ask first if I wanted it programmed. After a couple of minutes, I thought it might be stuck at that screen but decided to just leave it for 10 minutes in case it does take a while. After 10 min., same screen so I just turned the car off. Screen changed to something like, "Immobiizer not programmed". I was worried the car would not start but it did start and there was no code anymore. Not sure what happened, if anything.
