tengo el caso de una frontier del 98 encontramos en el taller las vías de acceso al canister taponadas por el carboncillo que este lleva dentro vaciamos todo ese carboncillo pero el canister sigue tirando el mismo, que pasa si este trabaja sin ese carboncillo, puede que siga arrojando el mismo codigo de falla u otro, sera mejor cambiar el canister por completo

El codigo P1444 lo tiro por que el Purge Volume Control Solenoid Valve debe de estar tapado.
El canister si puede trabajar sin el carbon, pero hay una pequeña posibilidad que tire otro codigo.

I got this code on my Honda odyssey 2001 and im not sure where to look. Any suggestions? also nothing to do with this code or car but I have a Volkswagen 2001 passat and I cant find anything telling me where to find the torque converter clutch solenoid circuit any idea where that would be?

Please double check the code. I can't find any information about the P1444 code in the factory service manual for your 2001 Honda Odyssey.
The Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid is attached to the Transmission Valve Body inside the transmission. -
When I bought my 98 Frontier, it had the P1444 code showing (service engine light on perpetually). I changed the fuel filter because I know that people seldom do that, and the code and light went off, hasn't come back on since.
