  • fan stay on and the ac. check engine light. I pull the code with my scanner

  • It's normal for the Fan to stay ON with the A/C ON. For the P1217 code the most likely cause is the thermostat. Also, after replacing the thermostat, make sure you bleed the coolant system.

  • I change the thermostat and the water pump and I found the bleeder valve but it was broken so I replace it with a aftermarket one but it doesn't have a bleeder valve just a straight connection. how can I bleed the system in a different way? the car doesn't blow hot air, dont know why and the second hose from the radiator to the thermostat is not hot. took out the radiator to see if clog, no clog.
