i have a 2004 murano that i got some bad gas in which clogged the fuel filter, which eventually caused one of my catlytic converter to melt out and clog the lower cat, i replaced the lower cat already but when i go to drive it, it developes a random misfire as the motor warms up to its normal operating temperature and two codes show... P1051 and P1168. any ideas?

Hello, I have a 2006 Nissan Frontier, 4WD, 4.0L V-6, and the "Service Engine Soon" light just came on. Took truck to AutoZone, to get the codes read. Code 1: P:1168, which should be a "failed HO2S21 Sensor (Heated O2 Sensor Bank 2-Sensor 1". Code 2: P0150, which should be a "failed air/fuel ratio sensor (sensor 1 bank 2). Can anyone confirm that these are the correct definitions for these codes? Also, can anyone help me to determine where to locate these sensors on the vehicle? Which side of the engine is bank 2? I purchased a replacement fuel/air ratio sensor and a replacement heated o2 sensor, and installed them yesterday (7/4/15). When I started the truck, the "service engine soon" light went out. I was a happy camper.
This morning, I reset a "Tire Pressure Monitoring System" light on the dash. When I went to drive the truck this morning, I observed that the "service engine soon" light was back on.
Is there any relationship between the "TPMS" light and the "service engine soon" light?
I was careful not to contaminate the sensor probe tips when I installed the sensors. I was also careful to make sure that the connectors were completely seated/engaged.
Any thoughts or ideas? -

Both codes are for the same sensor, so more than likely the problem is the sensor it self. I recommend replacing the "Air Fuel Ratio (Oxygen Sensor) Sensor Bank 2"

I have a 2005 nissan frontier 2WD V6 4.0L and I'm receiving p1051 and p1168 as well. I replaced the upstream drivers side a/f sensor and reset the ecm but no luck. Any suggestions on how to continue troubleshooting? I figure to look at the harness but I haven't had time to look up what voltages should be there

"Sensor 2" are after the catalytic converters (also know as Downstream)
P1168 and P0420 are NOT for the sensors, but could be related to the sensor. In your case is the P1051 Air Fuel Ratio Sensor 1 (Also know as Upstream Oxygen Sensor)
