i own a 2004 v35 skyline 250gt. It has started throwing the swirl control code. When I try to accelerate past 3000 rpm.. it starts jerking and loses power. I cant seem to find a replacement for the valve. Every other part is identical to the american g35 of the same yeat...help!!

Not the same, the 2004 G35 does not have swirl control valve.

What model and year is your Nissan? More than likely you have to replace the valve.

Start by checking all the hoses connected to the valve. Make sure all the hoses are secured and not clogged. The valve is on the front top of the engine.

You have to remove the top engine cover to access the valve. The Idle Air Controlvalve is different.

Have a 2001 Nissan pathfinder, error came on after work was done on engine valve cover. Change sensor and did a smoke test . But problem remains. Swirl control. Now what??

If the problem start happening after the valve cover repair, then you should check the connections to the valve and other swirl control components. Make sure the hoses to the swirl control valve solenoid are properly connected.

The repair shop check all hose's and did a smoke test for any leaks. Also replaced both solenoid . The brown and green one. I also check the hose from both . Too see if clogged. Nothing. The hose are not that long. So was pretty easy. Can something else be causing code?

Only other thing I can think is the check switch.

That's was replaced also. Was after market.. what voltage will be at check at this check switch? If any?? I check voltage at solenoid and getting a reading. Not sure about the check switch.

Before you replace any parts, make sure all the vacuum hoses are firmly connected and clean. Swirl Control Valve Control vacuum switch is close to the connector

So i changed the swirl control valve control solenoid valve and the p1130 and p0174 still came up. Car runs smooth up to about 60mph, but it backfires while at idle. Do u think its this SCV or O2 sensors

I have a nissan altima 09 and everything started when my car shut it off and it didn't want to start.so i went on line like every one else do ..and find out it was my security box under the steering wheel i forgot the name...anyways . when i press the starting button it wosent doing anything...so i look for video of possible causes and find one that said to smack the box and it will turn on . ok i got it to turn on for emergency.. When shut the car off it didn't want to turn on no more so i tuke the car to the garage. And they said it was the ecm .so they change it ... But now it has codes coming in !!!! And before all this my car never had codes !! Well they guy said to drive it for a while and it will be fix but it hasn't . how to fix this problem?

What is the engine size of your Altima 2.5 or 3.5? do you have any other codes?

I have a 2000 Maxima, great condition, runs great, right? Yes until one day it stalls on me and the check engine light comes on. I go to autozone, they read the code, says it's the idle air control valve. I replace it and not more than 2 wks later it's barely running at all. So as of now I have replaced the Mass air control sensor, throttle body, idle air control valve and I STILL cannot get this car to run right and stop throwing codes, which until today has always been the IACV code every time. But now it's saying it's the Swirl Control Valve! OMG somebody please tell how to fix this issue, PLEASE!!

Right now, do you have any more codes besides the P1130? any symptoms?

a green and brown solenoid on front of engine(center front cant miss them) has air lines go to it
that both the issues on the V35 skyline, the closest to engine is the swirl control valve solenoid

This looks like the valve that rides atop the Intake Manifold. My 2004 Nissan has the same valve. I get a P1132-37 code.

It's possible, depending on the condition of you car.
