  • 2005 Base RSX automatic, have replaced the IMRC with known good one and have taken it apart and used brake clean to clean it. have replaced the IMRC solenoid valve with new Honda unit. have done the honda vacuum test on the IMRC valve and it does hold vacuum. Light still comes on with code P1077 IMT Valve Stuck in High RPM Help

  • Unfortunately I haven't had that problem before, but I checked a national database of repairs for the same model and year, and the most common part was the IMRC solenoid valve, but there are a couple of incidents were the problem was the intake manifold. In both cases the engine had more than 100K miles. I hope that helps.
