Hello... I have a P0836 code coming up on my jeep grand cherokee. the vehicle goes in reverse with great power but has nothing in any forward gears. it had been at times not engaging into 3rd previously but now has no forward action. suggestions where to start looking?

I checked the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee factory service manual and there is no information for the P0836 code. Would it be possible to send me the VIN? You could have a problem with the 4WD switch.
