My Service Engine soon light is on. Someone at work had the plug in thing to check what the code was. There were several things listed. When I went online I saw the turbine revolution sensor. 2008 Nissan frontier se 4.0 v6 rear drive 152k miles. Gives me p0717 code for the input turbine sensor circuit no signal and p0734 gear 4 incorrect ratio. dealer said the sensor is in the valve assembly behind the pan cover. And have to replace the valve assembly, over $1k part. But when I look it up it's on the outside of the transmission case. Can anyone tell me the truth? Also I'm out of state 1000miles from home out for holiday. With this problem, can I make the drive home?
