Discuss the causes and fixes for P0638 Mitsubishi OBDII Code

  • I have a P0638 engine error code on my Mitsubishi Grandis 2006 (UK model) , Have been told it needs a new throttle body . I fitted a second hand one and same error. It could be second hand throttle body also faulty. But also it could be faulty wiring or faulty engine management system module . Local Mitsubishi dealer will charge Β£750 plus vat for new throttle body, Can get a new part from Taiwan for around $178 (including postage !).
