I have a 2001 nissan sentry sé 2.0. The Check engine light came on and the error code is P0400. I initially cleaned the egr and the code came on two days later. I changed out the temp sensor and still the same code came back on....I have replaced the EGR valve and the Temp sensor from ones I sourced from the wreckers but I still get the P0400 error code...what gives? I don't get any hesitation so my car runs fine otherwise. I just need to be able to pass the emissions test here in Vancouver Canada.

The P0400 code means that there is an insufficient EGR flow through the valve. If the valve is OK, check the tubes and passages that connects to the valve. Remove the valve and clean all the carbon built up on the hole where the valve connects.
