So about a couple weeks ago i started up my car and it had a hard time starting . Once i got it started the service engine light came on. Code p0340. I changed out both camshaft position aensor bank 1 and 2. Still having the same issue. Anyone have some advice for me??

In some rare occasions you also have to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor as well. I recommend to double check the sensors connectors, make sure you press the connector until you heard a click. If the connectors are firmly connected, then you may have to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor. If the problem persists, then you may have an issue with the timing chain or timing chain sprocket.

Changing the crankshaft sensor was my next step. I just dont want to keep throwing money at the car and still have the same problem . How can I test the sensor to make sure its bad so im not replacing a working sensor??

Unless the sensor is damage, testing the sensor with an ohm meter it's not very accurate. Reading the sensor signal with an OBDII scanner or an oscilloscope it is probably the best way to tested.
