I got volvo s40 1.6D its 2007 i got the same code and it has lack power 2000rpm but i can drive it 60km/h below 2000rpm then i can get it coughing shaking past 2000rpm and its normal i can go as fast car go but in netrual when rev it goes 2000rpm it sound choking then sometimes you can hear like small knock but i checked everything and it had recently changed sensors before i bought it by volvo mechanics but think they f something up as there was peace light metal bent up around cranck sensor but it works im scared think it might be the ECM but hope its not expensive replace :/
