2005 G35 coupe rough idle at cold start up then it runs great. It is so bad the check engine light comes on I turn it off and it stays off until the next morning when it's cold not cold outside the engine is just not a warm live in Texas.

I have seen for example: bad spark plugs (valve cover leaking oil into the spark plugs hole), blown head gasket, leaking injectors, bad gas, bad timing solenoids, etc. I recommend starting by check or replace all the spark plugs and if possible clean the throttle body as well.
