thanks for your reply put the engine runs very well after theird attemp and shows no sign of bad pump or bad connection i even made amps test to the new pump and showed 3 amps wich is good i think i am rely confued. is there any that yuo can send to me a wiring diagram for the fuel system?

The fuel pump it suppose to hold pressure when the engine is turned off. If the fuel pump is bad, it wont hold pressure and it will take longer for the fuel system to build pressure.

you right the new pump was leaking the fuel after stoping the engine from its filter assy . i changed the filter with new one its working perfect now thanks again and please if yoy still want to send the diagram for fuel cicuit my sonata is 2008 model.
