Engine light randomly appeared a couple Sundays ago. Haven’t had anything done lately (rear brake pads a few months prior but that’s all) I plugged my iCarSoft in and it came up with P012100 throttle position sensor. The car has been driving just fine since. Not sure what to do. Would rather not go and get ripped off

Thanks for replying. No other symptoms at all. I cleared the fault but it reappeared the day after. Not sure if you could answer this but how expensive would it be to replace the throttle position sensor?
