I have 3 months old Elantra 2013. At 4602 mileage, Engine light was on. I took to the dealer and they found fault code P0079. They had to order the oil control valve for me and they said it safe to drive. It took 4 days. I went back got the part replaced. I drove home no more engine light. Later I drove to train station, the light came back. I called the dealer and went back the next day to get it fix. This time 3.5 hours of waiting ( from 8 am to 12.30 pm). The problem was a male pin connector at the PCM power control module was pushed out. Tech fixed it and did 16 miles test drive. I drove home, no more light. I drove to supermarket at 3 pm. At the intersection I felt weird when I stopped the car waited for my turn, the car wanted to shoot out. I was so scared and had to step on the brake very hard. I drove home okay and no engine light. At 6 pm I drove my daughter to dance lesson, on the way back home the engine light came back. At this point my husband and I thought there must be something very wrong in this car. I will go to the dealer again tomorrow morning without appointment. Let's see what is wrong this time. Does any one have any problem like this?
