Code C2413 Description

An operating motor is used to support the driving force of steering wheel when the wheel is turned (rotated) by the driver. The operating motor (a brush type DC motor) is installed in the middle of the steering column and operates the steering column. The Electronic Power Steering (EPS) Motor can be damaged during disassembly or removal of the operating motor, so you must disassemble or remove the EPS motor with the assembly. This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) code refers to open/shorts or faulty connections in the EPS Control Module circuit. This code is set if while monitoring control current and real current, in the EPS motor circuit, the difference between two values is over 10A.
