Code C1724 Ford Description

The 2 front height sensors receive a 5-volt reference voltage from the Vehicle Dynamic Module (VDM). The rear height sensor receives a 5-volt reference voltage from the VDM. The air suspension service switch is a normally-closed switch that is used to turn the vehicle dynamic suspension system ON and OFF. The vehicle dynamic module (VDM) sends voltage into the switch and looks for that voltage to return. If the VDM does not receive voltage it will deactivate the vehicle dynamic suspension system.
