Code B3642 GMC Description

The seat cool temperature switch is normally open. When the switch is pressed, it momentarily sends a 12-volt signal through the cool temperature switch signal circuit to the Door Control Module. The door module then sends the cooled seat request to the Heated/Cooled Seat Module (CCSM). In response to this signal, the heated/cooled seat module activates the cooled seat mode. If the door module detects that the seat cool temperature switch input circuit is active for 30 continuous seconds, the switch will be considered shorted and the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will set.
