Code B2725 Buick Description

The Transfer Case Shift Control Switch (TCSCS) allows the driver to select between ranges. The Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) supplies a regulated 5 V, to the switch through the 5-volt reference circuit. The current travels through the specific resistor of the currently selected mode, each mode has its own resistor. The current is then returned to the Transfer Case Control Module through the switch signal circuit. The Transfer Case Control Module continuously monitors the switch signal circuit to determine whether the driver has requested a mode change. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets when the low side driver is ON, the Transfer Case Control Module measures an invalid voltage on the Four-Wheel Drive Switch Signal circuit.
