Code B2307 RAM Description

The Wiper/Washer Switch is integral to the Multifunction Switch. The Multifunction Switch is connected to the left side of the Clockspring/SAS. The Multifunction switch provides the primary controls for the front wiper/rear wiper/washer systems, turn signals and for headlamp high beam selection. The Multifunction Switch communicates with the Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) (integral to the Steering Column Control Module) via the LIN Bus. The SAS then converts this data to a CAN Bus signal and broadcasts the message to the corresponding module on the bus. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets when the Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) detects the Washer Switch is active for greater than 20 seconds.
