The air conditioning amplifier applies a voltage (5 V) to the No. 1 Cooler Thermistor (Evaporator Temperature Sensor) and reads voltage changes as changes in the resistance of the No. 1 Cooler Thermistor (Evaporator Temperature Sensor). This sensor is used for frost prevention.
