I have a 96 Mazda B3000, 3.0L, manual trans, 4x4. I have no bottom end power and the code 1318 just came up. It has a reman alternator. New plugs, wires, rebuilt fuel injectors, new fuel pump, new filter,.... top speed is 60 floored level or down hill. When I let out the clutch, no power and it is very sluggish. I've just read that an alternator with a bad voltage regulator can be the issue.
