When the actuator shaft rotates, the voltage on the door position signal circuit changes. The control circuit uses either a 0, 2.5, or 5-volt signal to command the actuator movement. When the actuator is at rest, the control circuit value is 2.5 volts. A 0 or 5-volt control signal commands the actuator movement in opposite directions.

  • My 2017 GMC Sierra HD 2500 Denali 4x4 with the 6.6 ltr Duramax Turbo Diesel Has codes B0413-05 Main Temperature control feedback circuit = HIGH VOLTAGE / OPEN and B0423-61 = right temperature control feedback circuit = STUCK . So is the issue the control module or an actuator ?

  • I forgot to mention that my a/c blows cool air but not COLD air and it's not low on coolant / Freon .

  • More than likely there is a problem with the actuator. The B0413-05 code is also set because the actuator didn't move. Before replacing the actuator check for stuck door.

  • Check if the actuator moves freely when it is disconnected from the door.
