When DTC B2710 is set as current, IPC will display STARTING DISABLED, REMOVE IGNITION KEY message on drivers message center and prevent the vehicle from starting. When DTC B2711 is set as current, IPC will display THEFT SYSTEM PROBLEM, CAR MAY NOT RESTART message on drivers message center and allow the vehicle to continue to run.
