Code B2592 Ford Description

While the Power Sliding Door (PSD) is closing and the PSD detent switch ground signal on the circuit is received, the PSD module supplies full power to the PSD motor to completely close and latch the power sliding door. As the power sliding door is powered to the final latch position, another momentary ground signal is received by the PSD module on the circuit. When a second momentary ground is detected, signifying the primary latch position (power sliding door completely latched), power is removed from the drive assembly actuator clutch and motor. If the PSD module does not receive the second ground signal from the PSD detent switch on circuit, and after full power has been applied to the PSD motor for 1 second, DTC B2592 sets.
