Code B1F05 Jeep Description

The driver electrochromatic mirror is controlled by the Body Control Module (BCM). The BCM receives the dimming control from the sensor in the Interior Rearview Mirror. The BCM send a Bus message to the Driver Door Module (DDM) which turns the dimming on and off. At night the dimming will be canceled when the vehicle is in reverse. The Body Control Module sends a command to the Door Module to turn the Day/Night dimming on and the Auto Day/Night Mirror Signal circuit is shorted to ground, shorted to voltage or open. The Door Module will set the OBDII code when the Electrochromatic Mirror is inoperative.
