The Memory Seat Module (MSM) input signal from the Steering Column Telescope Sensor is recognized in a specified voltage area. The input channel is an analog to digital converter input and the sensor is a hall sensor. The hall supply voltage is switched on when the motor becomes activated. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is set if the Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) detects the Steering Column Power Tilt and Telescope Switch has been active for greater than 50 seconds.
